There is a casino w/bowling alley, museum and a entertainment venue for comedy and music. Also Pagosa Springs is 35 mi. and and 40 mi. from Durango. Pagosa is well known for it's wonderful hot springs pools and Durango is a quaint mountain town that offers biking, hiking, and a narrow gauge train ride into Silverton, CO which is an old mining community. For weekend trips this location is close to Telluride for music and film festivals, Taos NM shopping and skiing, Ouray for camping and hot springs. Easily accessible to many ruins (Chimney Rock, Chaco Canyon, Mesa Verde). Great Short term rental Potential.
