As related, there's a very large ore pile on the property today that is assumed to be from 1893 or earlier, the last known time this quartz fissure vein was actively mined. A small sample of this ore was assayed by American Assay Laboratories in 2012, finding there could be up to 16.5 ounces of silver per ton and .2 ounces of gold per ton. To be clear though, the property - with its huge views, usable ground and live water, is priced for its development potential (commercial, residential, etc). Any possible value associated with the ore pile, the mineral rights, etc., would just a nice bonus for an industrious buyer. Please note, this property, though only 7 miles west of Jasper, is only seasonally accessible via car/truck; from apx Nov-Mar access is limited to tracked vehicles, e.g.; snowmobile, snowcat, etc.
